Altar servers are an important part of our celebration of the sacred liturgy. Their service at the altar lends dignity and reverence to the Mass, and allows the priest and people to concentrate on the sacred actions. The servers also have a privileged experience of the Church’s liturgy.

Children’s Week is an annual event held for one week in the summer at Our Lady of Walsingham for the children of the parish.
The sweeping, dusting, window cleaning, hoovering, brass rubbing and various other cleaning jobs are done by a team of enthusiastic volunteers.

A dedicated team of Eucharistic ministers takes Holy Communion to the sick and housebound of our parish, sharing in Christ’s ministry to the sick by bringing the Body of Christ to those who are unable to attend Mass.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist assist the clergy with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass.
Our parish is a Fairtrade parish. The FAIRTRADE Mark is the only way to guarantee that farmers in the developing world receive a fair price for their products.
On the first Friday of each month the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for Adoration from 6-7pm, concluding with Benediction at 6.45pm..
