On the first Friday of each month the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for Adoration. This is an extension of what we have received in Holy Communion at Mass, the gift of the Body and Blood of Jesus. At the busy Sunday Masses there is so much going on. In Eucharistic Adoration the Lord offers Himself so that we can adore Him in silence.
What is involved?
Just be yourself, come to Jesus as you are, for as little or as long as you can. You are the person Our Lord is anxious to converse with. Tell him your thoughts, your desires, your sorrows. No special words are needed – Our Lord prefers the poverty of our hearts.
What we need
During Adoration the Blessed Sacrament must never be left unattended. Please consider making a commitment of 30 minutes of your time once a month, by adding your name and contact number to the list on display at the back of the church on Friday.
Please contact Kathy Carroll via Reception.
