Courtyard
We are pleased to welcome the Courtyard project into our parish.
The Courtyard Project equips Catholic parishes to reach out and meet vulnerable young people in their own context, and welcome them as part of the parish ‘courtyard’. The parish use their rich resources – people, buildings, experience and faith – to accompany young people to discover their gifts and to gain a deeper sense of purpose.
It’s time to start our Courtyard youth outreach project… Join us! From Tuesday 26th February Courtyard will be starting induction and planning sessions in the presbytery at 7pm for five weeks. Anyone interested in reaching out to young people is encouraged to join us to discuss and decide how courtyard will work in Enfield and which project we will start with. At the induction session yesterday we learned about the values and principles of Courtyard and three ideas for future projects were introduced. It was a really positive meeting. Anyone interested in reaching out to our young people are strongly encouraged to attend next Tuesday where the theme will be “PURPOSE”.
