An opportunity to come together to pray for personal intentions, our priests, the parish and the wider world. This prayer group was started in 1986 and has been a regular part of the parish devotions since then.
Once a month the Saturday Club meets in Our Lady of Walsingham & the English Martyrs for those with special needs. It offers a friendly atmosphere with organised activities and an opportunity for socialising.
The 29th Enfield is the Scout group attached to our parish. We provide a varied weekly programme supplemented by various outdoor and weekend activities. We have 3 sections for boys and girls.
The St Vincent de Paul Society offers practical help to those in our community in need. Finding, loving and serving God in our communities are fundamental to the Society’s work.
TWIN is the parish’s own Third World Charity. TWIN has provided over £150,000 to some 30 countries in Africa, Asia and South America. As well as financial support, we provide moral support to those working in arduous circumstances through personal correspondence and occasional direct contact.
Every Sunday a group of volunteer drivers bring elderly/housebound people who live within the parish boundaries to 10.30am Mass in OLSG.
For young people, various youth groups meet on some Fridays during term time, 7.30-9pm in the Parish Centre.
