Bereavement Visiting Group

Our aim

To be available to any parishioner who has been bereaved, giving prayerful support at what can so often be a very challenging time. Members of the group will visit you in confidence, in the privacy of your own home.

Our meetings

Meetings are held in the presbytery approximately every six weeks, beginning and ending with prayers for the deceased and their families. At each meeting, we review contacts that have been made with the bereaved in recent weeks and allocate responsibility for making initial contact with those who have had a recent bereavement in their family.

New members

Always welcome.   Contact is best made via the presbytery, leaving a message addressed to the BVG.
