It is a lay order of Catholic men over the age of 16. The local group is Council 572 (Enfield & District) and covers the parishes of Enfield, Ponders End, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, and Hoddesdon. The monthly council meetings are held on the second Monday of the month in the parish centre at Our Lady & St George at 8pm.<\/p>\n
The KSC supports the mission of the Catholic Church through work in welfare; with young; and all aspects of action in the lay apostolate. Spirituality is expressed through Masses, retreats, and pilgrimages, and there is also a social aspect to our activities. At this time of year, the crib that is in the window of Blake and Horlocks is put there by the Knights, a tradition which has been going for over 60 years. Also the Christmas posters distributed for people to put into their windows at home are organised by the Knights.<\/p>\n
